Q. Are there any advantages to having well water?
A. Wells are installed and tested prior to a builder obtaining a building permit. They must meet EPA drinking water standards. Homeowners pay no fee to the town and not subject to town water ban, allowing them to use their irrigation systems. This should result in well manicured lawns, adding to the value of the owners investment.
Q. Is there an advantage to a private Septic/Sewerage system?
A. Private septic systems are designed to last a lifetime. There are no annual town fees and are environmentally friendly because they recharge our aquifers.
Q. What is involved in choosing a home plan, and getting an estimate of the cost?
A. The process is as follows:
- First, the Buyer and Builder Representative will meet to discuss the style and design of the home.
- The Buyer will then have time to choose a plan and make a note of all personalized changes and questions for the builder.
- Next, a meeting with the Builder who will answer any remaining questions and address any concerns.
